Foam Clay is a self hardening modelling material that contains small foam beads, giving texture to projects. Foam Clay dries at room temperature and it can easily stick to various materials such as papier-mâché, fabric and wood. Drying time for Foam Clay will vary from 1-3 days depending on the size and thickness of the model or project.
To add Foam or Silk Clay to a project just roll small balls of the clay, press them firmly onto the item and then use your fingers to smooth the surface. Both are available in a range of bright colours but new colours can created by kneading these together.
You can also roll the clay out onto a plastic bag and leave it to dry, allowing shapes to be punched or cut out from it once dry.
Clays should be stored in an airtight plastic container once opened but if the clay does dry up, just knead with a little bit of water to return the elasticity.
This pack includes 10 tubs each of 35g in various colours.
See video for inspiration on how to use Foam Clay.
